News from the Gwinnett County Republican Party
Posted by chris on Dec 20, 2011Dear Fellow Republicans,
The Gwinnett Republican Party has had a very successful 2011, building excitement and enthusiasm that we will translate into “boots on the ground” in the effort to elect a Republican President in 2012, while holding and expanding on our local and state GOP seats. I hope that you have been able to join us for one of our monthly breakfast rallies, town hall meetings, or special events this year, and we have even more planned next year.
To kick off 2012 the right way, we are excited to have special guest Congressman Joe Wilson from South Carolina (of “You Lie!” fame during one of the President’s addresses to the House) for the Gwinnett GOP 2012 Kickoff Rally, taking place on Thursday night, January 12th at 7:30 p.m. at 550 Trackside, 550 N. Clayton Street in Lawrenceville, the site of our monthly breakfast rallies. Congressman Wilson will be joined by our very own Congressmen Rob Woodall and Paul Broun, as well as a host of other state and local elected officials. This will be an event you won’t want to miss! (Just prior to the 2012 Kickoff Rally, we will have our regular January county committee meeting at 550 Trackside at 7:00 p.m.)
And of course, go ahead and mark your calendar for our regular monthly breakfast rally on Saturday January 7th at 8:30 a.m. at 550 Trackside. State Rep. David Casas, member of the House Economic Development Committee, and former Suwanee Mayor and current Gwinnett Chamber Vice-President Nick Masino will be bringing us up to date on the latest Partnership Gwinnett economic development efforts and state action to aid in job growth.
As we enter the holidays, it is my sincere hope that you are able to take time with your family and friends to reflect on the true reason for the season, as I know I will with my own family. After all of the politics and debates and events and campaigning, we should always remember what matters most, and I pray that you and yours will encounter the peace that passes all understanding this Christmas.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! On to victory in 2012!
