This year, I had the distinct honor to serve as the Chairman of the Georgia Delegation to the 2012 Republican National Convention! In addition to my role as a Delegate, I also served on the 2012 RNC Committee on Resolutions, also known as the Platform Committee.

Throughout the week in Tampa Bay, I treasured the time that I was able to spend with so many Republican friends – both new and old – who joined me in representing the great State of Georgia. We brought with us the 4th largest Delegation in the whole country, and the efforts of our state’s Republicans were evident across every aspect of the Convention.

My fondest memory, however, was the opportunity to answer Roll Call for the Georgia Delegation while surrounded by 75 fellow Delegates and proud Georgians. Georgia’s votes were cast towards the nomination of the next Republican President of the United States of America, and I could not be prouder to have represented our state.

On behalf of all of us at the Georgia Republican Party, THANK YOU all for making the 2012 Republican National Convention such a memorable and truly wonderful week.
