Volunteers and politicians will be at the grand opening of the Republican Office, 110 Market Street, Chatsworth, Georgia. Representative John Meadows, Representative Tom Dickson and Representative Rick Jasperse will be attending the event. Also local candidates will be on hand to meet and greet the citizens of Murray County. The Republican Office is intended to be a local headquarters for the Republican Party campaign efforts on the local, state and federal ballots this November. “It helps get the people energized and gives them a central place to come in and socialize to build camaraderie.” said Chuck Butler, County Chairperson. The office will be home to phone banks, candidate literature and yard sign pick-ups. The office also will serve as a base of operation for the campaign’s door-to-door efforts and a regular location for candidates to visit and meet with supporters. “It’s a gathering place where people can come in and learn about the candidates,” said Chuck Butler. “Everyone is welcome. It’s a tremendous area for the candidates to come, and there will be a number of outings where they will gather here with the public.”
