Honoring Our American Heroes

Dear Friends,

On this Memorial Day, I wanted to pause for a moment and reflect upon the many sacrifices that have been made by our brave service men and women in the United States Armed Forces. We are indeed blessed to live freely in the greatest country on earth, and we retain these liberties because of the heroes who have fought selflessly to protect them.

Throughout our country’s 237-year existence as a Republic, there has been but one unwavering constant: the courage, honor and commitment of those willing to lay their very life on the line in the preservation of liberty. The freedoms that we are so blessed to have on this day were fought for, protected and upheld by our true American heroes, and especially the Fallen, who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

As you spend time with friends, family and loved ones this weekend, I hope that you will also take the opportunity to reflect upon and remember the sacrifices made in the name of Freedom. Memorial Day is, above all else, a firm and honorable reminder of those who have come before us, and those who will continue to protect the very foundation of the United States of America – Freedom.

I would like to extend my most sincere gratitude and appreciation to all veterans and active service members; you are the reason that I am able to live freely each and every day, and I am eternally grateful.

God Bless our troops, and may God continue to Bless the United States of America.

Sue P. Everhart, Chairman
