From The Chairman’s Desk
On Tuesday afternoon, the Presidency of Barack Obama reached a new milestone as Americans watched our National Debt soar above $16 Trillion for the first time in our country’s history. Since taking office less than four years ago, President Obama has set quite a precedent, including adding more public debt than the first 43 presidents – combined! A number as large as $16,000,000,000,000.00 is often difficult to relate to, as the size and scope of our debt has reached unseen heights. Thus, I would like to put it into relatable terms, so that we may all understand the effects of Barack Obama’s reckless and unabated spending. Let’s Cover Georgia: A Sign in Every Yard, a Sign on Every Corner This election is a battle for the core values of America. Do we want a country of and by Washington…or a nation of and by a free people? For us to continue to live in a free America, we MUST replace Barack Obama. The GAGOP is the only entity in the state fully committed to electing a Republican President. Help us spread our message to every corner of our state! With a contribution of just… $10, you can help buy nine yard signs. $25, you can help buy twenty-three yard signs. $100, you can help buy ninety yard signs. And with a contribution of $1,000, you can help buy enough yard signs so that every Republican in an entire precinct can proudly display their strong Republican support! Let’s cover Georgia! Click here to help our Party put a sign in every yard across Georgia! Labor Day Message from Congressman Jack Kingston
Labor Day is a wonderful holiday. It provides us a chance to celebrate all that summer had to offer while looking forward to fall. If we are lucky, it gives us a chance to spend time with our family and friends, cook out, and celebrate the start of football season (Go Dawgs!). The real meaning of Labor Day, however, is taking a moment to celebrate the American worker. Throughout our history, the American workforce has led the world in innovation and productivity. We have dreamed up some of the greatest inventions and created the supply chain to spread them all over the world. America gives everyone – regardless of your past – the opportunity to earn a livelihood, provide for your family, and, if you’re lucky, the chance to give a hand up to the next generation so they may seek an even better life. Has your local, county or district GOP organization hosted or participated in any events recently? If so, we would love to hear about the details and share them with Republicans all across Georgia! Send your events and photos to Chris Kelleher at Chris@gagop.org, and keep an eye out for your organization to be featured in a future GAGOP Newsletter! Help Lead the Charge Today! The Georgia Republican Party is fully committed to electing a Republican President in 2012. However, Victory won’t be achieved simply because we won the last elections. Victory can only be achieved by working hard each and every day to win the next elections. President Obama and the Democrats are targeting Georgia and could spend as much as $30 million to win our state. There’s too much at stake to leave this election to chance. Please consider contributing $15, $25, $50 or any amount to help Georgia do its part to send Barack Obama back to Chicago! |
