From The Chairman’s Desk

Dear Friends

Another year is behind us and a brand new year lies ahead. Although 2012 did not result in the election of a new President, I am extremely proud of the hard work and determination of our grassroots network here in Georgia. We gave our best effort and delivered our state for the Republican ticket and for that we should be proud.

Albert Einstein once said, “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” This is a difficult time for our Party; however, I still believe that our future is bright. There are opportunities ahead, but also challenges. Republicans must meet them unified and fortified. We must not back down, but instead take this time as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for success in the future.

2013 will surely bring its share of joys as well as hardships for each of us. However, this year we must resolve to stand strong for restoring the values that we know this country was founded on. America needs us and I am as confident in our conservative principles as ever. I am convinced that we will emerge from this difficult time as a stronger and more resolute Party and our country will be better for it.

May God bless your family and continue to bless America in the New Year!

All my best,

Sue

My 2013 Resolution will be to “Refocus.” – Vivian Childs

I will shut up mourning our Nov. 6 loss and gear up to start the battle to take back the U.S. Senate in two years — then the White House in 2016. I shall NEVER GIVE UP THE FIGHT TO RESTORE OUR COUNTRY following the horrible 8 years under Obama. – Bettye Chambers

I resolve to regularly remind voters in the 12th District and most especially Richmond County, that you get what you vote for…John Barrow is not a Conservative and is not the person you think you voted for! – Debbie McCord

My Resolution is to better practice living the conservative and spiritual values that I believe god intended and that were set forth by our nations founders. – Rick Richardson

To REALLY learn how to juggle. Why? I have no clue, but sometimes it’s good to just do something fun. – Brian Keahl

General ‘Stormin’ Norman’ Schwarzkopf Dies

General Schwarzkopf, Commander of U.S. Central Command and U.S. Forces during Operation Desert Storm, died December 27, 2012, in Tampa, Florida, at age 78 due to complications from pneumonia

General Schwarzkopf is survived by wife Brenda and children: Cynthia, Jessica and Christian Schwarzkopf. We ask that you keep his friends, family, and his extended military family in your prayers.

General Schwarzkopf is best known for an amazingly successful battle plan designed to remove invading Iraqi Forces from Kuwait. The operation lasted only four days, resulted in opposition forces either surrendering or retreating, and incredibly low American casualties.

Best Wishes For George H.W. Bush

Please keep President George H.W. Bush in your prayers as he continues recovering from fever and a bronchitis-like cough. He has left the ICU and is steadily improving.

President Bush served from 1989-1993, most remembered for his handling of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. His successful efforts to build international coalitions and resolving the conflict with minimal U.S. casualties was considered a stunning achievement at the time.

Help Lead the Charge Today!

In the shadow of the reelection of Barack Obama, Georgians should stand evermore resolved to spread our message and return America to prosperity, strength, hard work and the American Dream. Georgians took a stand on November 6th by giving our electoral votes to the Romney/Ryan ticket, electing a new Republican Congressman in Doug Collins, and re-electing our two PSC Commissioners while strengthening our majorities in the Georgia General Assembly!

Our state still holds the ideals that this country was founded on and we proved that on Election Day. However, we saw that the course of our country is significantly changing. We must now continue our fight to take back our America and continue moving Georgia forward!

The threat is real and the fight has just begun. Please consider contributing $15, $25, $50 or any amount to help Georgia spread our message far and wide!
