WHEREAS, Ronald Reagan was a humble and patriotic leader and noble American for 93 years, whose life embodied his stated belief “…that man is good, that what is right will always eventually triumph and that there is a purpose and worth to each and every life”; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Georgia Republican Party celebrates the extraordinary life of president Ronald Wilson Reagan during this, the year of the 100th anniversary of his birth, and expresses its abiding respect for him and its deepest appreciation for his selfless and inspired public service; and be it further

RESOLVED that the Georgia Republican Party recognizes the significance of the presidency of Ronald Wilson Reagan and its enduring legacy for the United States and the rest of the world and renews it commitment to both affirm and defend the heritage of human freedom left by Ronald Wilson Reagan.
