Chairman’s Welcome: October 24, 2012

Dear Friends,

With less than two weeks left until Election Day, many of you have already taken advantage of absentee and early voting in Georgia. From the preliminary numbers released by Secretary of State Brian Kemp, voter turnout across the Peach State is tremendous and at last count over a half-million Georgians have already punched their ballot cards for this election.

If you have not yet voted, however, there are still many opportunities for you to do so both before and on Election Day! Early voting continues this week, as well as all of next week before coming to an end on Friday, November 2nd. As a reminder, you can view the Georgia Republican Party’s Interactive Early Voting Map by clicking here. Absentee ballots are also still available, and may be requested by filling out the application by clicking here and then must be returned in-person or mailed to your respective County Board of Registrars Office by Tuesday, November 6th.

I also want to ensure that all Georgians are aware of Saturday voting, which will be held this Saturday, October 27th, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM in each county across our state. To find out where you can cast your ballot on Saturday, please visit the Secretary of State by clicking here.

To coincide with Saturday voting this weekend, the Georgia Republican Party is teaming up with our District and County Parties, as well as our Republican Auxiliary and Outreach Organizations, to host ‘Super Saturday’ events across Georgia. A true grassroots ‘Get out the Vote’ effort, we are encouraging our fellow Republicans to host events, rallies, cookouts and even carpools to ensure that your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues have the opportunity to take advantage of Saturday voting.

To add your own ‘Super Saturday’ event to the GAGOP Events Calendar, please click here.

Over the next two weeks, we have an unparalleled opportunity to shape the very future of our nation. I hope each of you will join me in leaving no stone unturned as we sprint towards the finish line on November 6th.

All my best,

Sue
