Chairman’s Welcome: June 13, 2012
Posted by chris on Jun 13, 2012Dear Friends,
It is no secret that this year’s Republican Presidential Primary has been one of the most unpredictable, exciting and spirited in our Party’s history. Through the many highs and lows of the race to be the Republican nominee, we have played witness to a truly remarkable campaign.
As a Republican, I could not be happier with our Party’s nominee heading in to the most important election in my lifetime. Governor Mitt Romney has shown time after time that he possesses a fundamental knowledge of the American economy – something that has escaped Barack Obama for much of the past four years. This November will be a pocketbook election, and Governor Romney is unquestionably the superior candidate to lead our country towards prosperity.
On Tuesday, Former Speaker Newt Gingrich stopped by the Georgia Republican Party Headquarters to speak on behalf of the presidential campaign of Mitt Romney. Newt, along with Herman Cain, Tim Pawlenty, Rick Perry and many of the rest of the 2012 Republican presidential candidates, has offered his steadfast support to Governor Romney. The unity within the Republican Party has never been stronger, and I cannot help but be encouraged by the team effort leading up to November.
Just as our Party is aligned behind Governor Romney, the American people are increasingly united by the fact that President Obama has failed to lead our country in the right direction. It will take a full-scale effort to defeat Barack Obama in November, but I am more encouraged with each and every passing day that we will be inaugurating the 45th President of the United States of America on January 20th, 2013.
With just 146 days remaining until Election Day, now is the time to get involved in our Party’s drive to November!
