Chairman’s Welcome: April 25, 2012Posted by chris on Apr 25, 2012
As you know, we are less than a month away from the 2012 GAGOP State Convention, and today I am thrilled to make a very exciting announcement! On Friday, May 18th, former Speaker of the House and Georgia Congressman Newt Gingrich will deliver the Keynote Address at the State Convention Victory Dinner, and on Saturday, May 19th, both Speaker Gingrich and Republican National Committee Co-Chairman Sharon Day will deliver remarks on the floor of the State Convention!
These exciting guests are sure to add to what promises to be an action-packed State Convention! As a reminder, you may purchase your Victory Dinner and Breakfast tickets via the Georgia Republican Party’s online pre-registration page at http://www.gagop.org/convention-registration/. This year’s Breakfast will honor Governor and First Lady Deal, and will be an exciting way to kick off day 2 of our State Convention!

Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to Arizona for the 2012 Republican National Committee Chairmen’s Meeting. It was refreshing and enlightening to share thoughts, ideas and best practices with other State GOP Chairmen from around the country, and I am encouraged by the progress being made nationwide as we move towards November and our ultimate goal of making Barack Obama a one-term president.
Over the next few months, our Party will be working harder than ever to take our country back. Between winning the White House, gaining a majority in the U.S. Senate and protecting our majority in the U.S. House – both in Georgia’s delegation and nationally – we are certain to have our work cut out for us. We need each of you now, more than ever, to join us on our path to victory.
Thank you for all that you have done – and will continue to do – for our Party, the State of Georgia and the country that we all hold dear. Together, we will take our America back in November!
All my best,
