Dear Friends,

I would like to begin by offering my most sincere congratulations to each of the 42 Delegates and 42 Alternates elected to serve in Georgia’s Delegation at the 2012 Republican National Convention. It is a tremendous honor to have the opportunity to represent our state and our Party at the National Convention, and I will be proud to stand alongside each of you in August!

Across the state, turnout was extremely encouraging at Saturday’s District Conventions. I offered a challenge to each of you – reminding you that when we don’t show up, we lose – and you answered vociferously. Thousands of Georgia Republicans dedicated a Saturday to our Party, and as a result, we have a powerful, united front heading into our State Convention, National Convention and November’s general elections.

In just over four weeks, we will convene in Columbus, Georgia for the final stage of the 2012 Georgia Republican Party Convention Cycle – the 2012 State Convention. Always an exciting, electric gathering, this year’s Convention promises to foster an exhilarating atmosphere, as our Party will elect Delegates and Alternates At-Large to the Republican National Convention, as well as a National Committeeman and a National Committeewoman to represent Georgia on the Republican National Committee.

In addition to running for an elected position, there will be an abundance of other ways for you to get involved in this year’s State Convention. Vendor Booths and Literature Tables are available for your company, candidate, campaign or organization to reach thousands of Georgia Republicans, and our Goodie Bags offer another (free!) option to reach each and every attendee at this year’s Convention.
