Chairman’s Welcome

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the homepage of the Georgia Republican Party. I am extremely privileged and grateful to serve as your Chairman.  Your hard work and dedication has made our Party the fastest growing family in Georgia. It represents the common sense, mainstream values of Georgians. I am proud of our elected officials and their leadership, and proud of all the hard work our volunteers have done and are doing at the grassroots level.

Republicans in Georgia currently hold all of the statewide constitutional offices as well majorities in the Georgia General Assembly and Congressional Delegation. Our state has come a long way since we elected our first post-Reconstruction Republican Governor in 2002. All of our successes would not have been possible without your commitment and hard work.

While these victories are great, they are not permanent. We must work hard every day to take back our America in 2014 and beyond! I hope that you find all the tools you need here, whether you are looking to volunteer, contribute financially, connect to our social media outlets or get the latest news. Please return to our site often as it is updated frequently.

The site also offers information about your local Republican party. By clicking on “Local” you can find information about your county and district GOP organizations. Although we have made tremendous strides in organizing local parties across the state, we still have a few left to build. If by chance your area of the state does not have an organized party and you would be interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you!

Our Party is moving the Peach State forward, and with your help, I look forward to continuing that progress as we solidify the Republican majorities across every level of government in Georgia!

Pearl Harbor: The Catalyst for Change and the Sacrifice of a Lifetime

December 7, 2012 marks a solemn moment of remembrance in the hearts and minds of Americans and especially veterans and their families as we recall a Sunday morning just before 8 am 71 years ago, arguably the avoidable tragedy that befell our nation’s military at Pearl Harbor.  Many sacrificed that day and many life-times were lost but not our traditional remembrance and memorial tributes. We honor as American’s the selfless service and sacrifice of those who stood vigilant an true to their pledge and dedication to serve America with the...

Holiday Message from GAGOP Faith-Based Outreach Chairman Terri Green

Dear Fellow Georgians, It’s hard to believe that 2012 is almost over and 2013 is upon us, and the season of Hanukkah, a Jewish Holiday known as the Festival of Lights, and the advent season of Christmas, is here. Hanukkah is a happy, festive, joyous eight-day Jewish celebration that starts on Kislev 25 on the Hebrew calendar (same as November-December on the Gregorian calendar). It is also called the Festival of Lights. The word Hanukkah means “dedication.” Hanukkah is an important feast for the Jewish people, for it reminds them of...
