Dear Friends,
Welcome to the homepage of the Georgia Republican Party. I am extremely privileged and grateful to serve as your Chairman. Your hard work and dedication has made our Party the fastest growing family in Georgia. It represents the common sense, mainstream values of Georgians. I am proud of our elected officials and their leadership, and proud of all the hard work our volunteers have done and are doing at the grassroots level.
Republicans in Georgia currently hold all of the statewide constitutional offices as well majorities in the Georgia General Assembly and Congressional Delegation. Our state has come a long way since we elected our first post-Reconstruction Republican Governor in 2002. All of our successes would not have been possible without your commitment and hard work.
While these victories are great, they are not permanent. We must work hard every day to take back our America in 2012! I hope that you find all the tools you need here, whether you are looking to volunteer, contribute financially, connect to our social media outlets or get the latest news. Please return to our site often as it is updated frequently.
The site also offers information about your local Republican party. By clicking on “Local” you can find information about your county and district GOP organizations. Although we have made tremendous strides in organizing local parties across the state, we still have a few left to build. If by chance your area of the state does not have an organized party and you would be interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you!
Our Party is moving Georgia forward, and with your help, I look forward to continuing that progress when we elect a Republican President in 2012!
Sue P. Everhart
Chairman

Cool or Commander?
Dear Friend, President Obama was in Georgia today visiting our troops at Fort Stewart where he spun his typical liberal rhetoric while shifting blame to divert attention from his disaster of a presidency. This trip shows that he has apparently decided to take a break from his recent efforts to become the “coolest” President in our country’s history. While Americans are facing the very serious issues of a national debt over $15.6 trillion, sky-rocketing gas prices and unemployment at a staggering level, our President has...

This week, President Obama declared to his supporters and followers on Twitter that he is preparing to hold the “first” rallies of his reelection campaign. While there is nothing inherently special about a President stating that he will be hosting campaign event during an election year, the fact is that the President has been campaigning since the day that he was elected in 2008. In fact, since he officially filed for reelection a year ago, Obama has made over 60 trips around the United States on Air Force One, of which nearly half...

Dear Friend, They say “stupid is as stupid does.” The latest Democratic assault on women is just that – stupid…and I am angry and offended. To claim that Ann Romney, a mother of five who has suffered from breast cancer and MS, has “never worked a day in her life” is downright deplorable. I am a mother, and I’m sure that other mothers agree that raising children is one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs that you can ever have. Motherhood is a full-time job, and this attack only further proves...

Fellow Republicans, Republicans in Georgia’s 12th District are excited at the opportunity to finally remove Congressman John Barrow from the office he has held since January of 2005. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has taken notice of the race in our District and have designated...
